Reclaiming Narratives. Redefining Futures.

About

Off The Rez Story Studio is a Native-led film and storytelling studio rooted in truth-telling, accountability, and lived experience.

Founded by filmmaker Regina Dezbah Simons, MFA (Diné, Nakoda, Dakota), Off The Rez Story Studio supports Indigenous storytelling through documentary, narrative, and experimental film, as well as education, public screenings, and facilitated dialogue.

The studio centers Native voices, challenges harmful representation, and contributes to cultural preservation through collaborative, community-informed work.

Projects are developed intentionally and evolve through relationship, care, and creative rigor.
